Changes in life.
Have you ever noticed one day that you suddenly realize you are a compleatly different person than you were even as early as 6 months ago. I never really notice the change myself until I read some of my old posts on here and they don't really reflect how I am as a person anymore.

Re: Changes in life.
I find that over the chaotic time of high school I sometimes make dramatic shifts in my attitude and have no idea I did so until I have time to reflect on it in the freedom of summer. Sometimes these changes are for the good, and others are for the bad. Over the past year I have been doing my best to reflect as often as I can so that I can keep track of the person I am, the person I'm becoming, and how those relate to the person I'm striving to be.

Yeah, I think I'm not bolted up so tightly as I was a year or two ago.

Re: Changes in life.
I think I have a lot more common sense. Each year we age we think we know everything there is to know, especially as a teenager.

I was doing this exact same thing the other day on some of the message boards I post on. And I noticed that the me of a year or two ago annoys the hell out of the me today.
Re: Changes in life.
I'm very proud of who I've become over the past year. I feel as if I've progressed intellectually because of increased creativity. Some people accept these changes, but I have had someone very close to me tell me that they liked the loser gamer better. And last night I was labeled as a hippie, that kind of hurt, considering who it came from.
Regardless, I wouldn't revert my lifestyle for the world, and those that cannot keep up have little place in the rest of my life :p

Re: Changes in life.
I am entering high school this year, and I
noticed a huge change. My friends even kind
of noticed it too. But they saw things differently.
I saw it as something positive and they saw
it as negative. I've realized that I have really grown
more independent. I don't really care wether I
am around friends or not. I can be alone my whole
day and it won't bother me. And when I noticed this
was when my friends would literally, leave me alone
the whole day. Then one day we were talking about
how much things have changed. They began to
confront me about how I don't speak to them anymore.
The first thing that came to my mind was "Seriously,
this is my fault?" Then I realized it wasn't my fault.
My "friends" were upset that I wasn't begging to hang
around with them and following them or getting jealous
that I was spoken to often. I told them that I wasn't going
to follow them. I told them that if they don't want to
talk to me anymore, then It was cool with me.
I realized how immature they were really being and
it sickened me. Later, I told my mom and she said
that I was growing up and that I was becoming more
independent. I thought about what she had said that day.
And I didn't know if to accept it or not. It kinda didn't make
much sense. But I am pretty sure I accept my change now.

Re: Changes in life.
yes! In April or May, I looked at a picture of myself that was taken back in July of last year, and I realised that I had changed so much since then. I've grown up alot, and I feel alot more comfortable with myself now than I ever did back then. I'm also a lot more happy about life than I was back then as well, mostly because I've kinda realised that life is really what you make of it.
But, I'm still a teenager, so I guess there's a whole lot more to come

Re: Changes in life.
I have a little poem i would like to share with you about life.
Life, adventure, change.
Coping, Evolving, Mange.
Seeing, Knowing, Learning.
Watching, Thinking, Butter Churning.
Wondering about the past,
And all the things that last,
while others fade away.

Re: Changes in life.
Another piece of art McGee, you deserve some rep for that post. You summed up life in a single poem. That takes mastery.

Re: Changes in life.
I'm 32 and have actively blogged for 4 years almost. I do see changes in how I thought about many things even in such short time. If we compare my ideas with what I thought when I was 20, believe me, I am a different person now
Re: Changes in life.
I could never get into strict blogging. I kind of wish that I could so that I could track myself.
Re: Changes in life.
Ya, I just feel like sometimes I wouldn't have time either.

Re: Changes in life.
I would probably have the time to do it, but it bores me to outline my day for myself.
There are many days where I want nothing to do with remembering what happened, and I'm starting think there is probably some merit in keeping track of all of that despite the effort it would take.
I may try it out...who knows.

Re: Changes in life.
Ya it would take alot of thinking and dedication if you were seroius about it. But would be cool to do. And you would always have as something to look back on your previous days.
