Who else has been following this? It's unfortunate we are forced to take a passive stance because of our estranged relations with them.

Re: Iranian presidential election
It was most certainly fixed. I really feel for the Iranian protesters. And it also makes mad knowing that the Pentagon had protests listed under low level terrorism. What kind of message does that send to the Iranian Protesters?

Re: Iranian presidential election
I have been since Day 1. I hope they succeed. The USA is now seeing the true cost of freedom which many of Us take for granted.
Re: Iranian presidential election
It's like we can "command and conquer" some failed countries (imperialism in other words) but not strengthen the democracy in another country.
I understand WHY we cannot do anything to Iran but I still don't think taking a passive stance is really right.

Re: Iranian presidential election
It's a difficult situation for obama. Ahmidenijad is hoping obama says something so he can rally a resistance against him. If this uprising fails. Ahmindenijad will have 4 more years to rally against Obama while pursuing nuclear interests as well. Making Obama's life a whole hell of a lot harder in the future.
With that said, I think we do need a more definite stance.
