Most of you know by now that garnering forum points is quite easy. Make a post, or a topic, and you begin building a foundation. Now there are actual incentives for building these points.

What Your Points Mean

* At 150 points you become eligible for the Writing Staff who will be individuals that participate in contributions to the TG Articles.

* At 250 points you become eligible to be considered for a moderator position.

* At 500 points you will be able to request access to The Sandbox personal forums (a forum currently under development) where absolutely anything goes.

* At 750 points you will be granted a personal subforum in The Sandbox where that is under your own moderation control. This means only specific users (your choice) are allowed to see what you post there.

How to Get Points

* A continual build-up occurs as you make posts and topics - these are quite minimal, though, ranging from 1-3 points.

* Make a successful topic. This is more complicated than it sounds. If you make a topic that receives over 100 replies and it contains actual content (i.e. the religion topic in the debate corner), you will receive 75 points. If it reaches 500 replies, you will receive 200 points.

* Member recruitment - If someone lists you as a referral, upon notice we will award you with 25 points. This is not applicable for staff.

* Member of the Month Award - This is an award a select user will receive at the end of a posting month for making posts, recruiting members, and being loyal to the website. The award is worth 125 points, with a runner-up at 90 points.
