Cheating.
Is it ever justifiable? Ever?
Have you ever had experiences with a cheating partner, or have you ever cheated, yourself?

Re: Cheating.
Cheating is NEVER justified in my book. If you're considering a relationship with another person you need to confront the person you're currently with and end it if necessary. The truth will always come out in the end and you will hurt the person more than if you had told them up front.
Yes, I've been cheated on once or twice, and it's heartbreaking.
No, I will never cheat. Ever.

Re: Cheating.
Yeah, that's what I thought everyone's view should be xD
I got cheated on a few months ago. A few times. She told me about it and all, and yeah, it was nice that she was honest, but really? Come on. I stayed with her a few more months, but nothing else was the same. I couldn't think of her without thinking of her doing other things with another person.
The relationship just ended a few days ago, and I really don't feel remorseful about anything. The whole cheating thing must've stifled all of my emotions in the relationship. I couldn't keep loving her when she betrayed me in such a way.
Disgusting.

Re: Cheating.
I'm sorry to hear that, Tyler. I suppose we'll all find someone someday, or be happy on our own.
Re: Cheating.
Nope, its never justifiable. The whole point of a relationship is to commit to one person for both partners personal happiness. Cheating shows immaturity and lust shining through whatever mask that partner has chosen to put on.
Have I ever cheated? No. And I never will.

Re: Cheating.
I don't agree with cheating and never have. It's wrong and if you don't love your partner enough to avoid going to another person than you should just end it.

Re: Cheating.
Black and white win.
Life has had too many grey areas lately, and it gets troublesome to determine who is right and who is wrong when everything is subject to interpretation.
It's about time I realized that even "unconditional" love has its limits. I can't keep appeasing wrongdoings against me.
My friend Katie helped put things in perspective when she said that Bre should've thought about all of the girls that were jealous of her for dating me. Herself, included. Hands-down, sweetest thing I've heard in months, and it really clarified things for me, and facilitated a recovery-of-sorts.
Thanks for your input, guys.
But by no means am I ending the discussion, I'm just getting us all off-topic xD

Re: Cheating.
Its all about self-control. I can probably understand the temptation if you get yourself into that situation, but its never justifiable. I think if you have the urge to cheat, you need to have a serious talk with your significant other. I've been cheated on a long time ago, and its devastating.
As for me, I would never, ever cheat.

Re: Cheating.
You guys are all awesome
And I'm the same way. I won't date anyone until I'm positive, and I mean absolutely positive, that I have zero interests in anyone else.

Re: Cheating.
That's honorable; cheating is unjustified and inexcusable; however, that being said- it is unfortunate, but people make mistakes. hopefully they learn from it.

Re: Cheating.
When would the cheating occur? My father had three girlfriends at once in first grade. So..?
Re: Cheating.
Ahhh, I would say like legitimate relationships- so take that for what you will.
Did they eventually find out or did they not care, because that is kind of precious. First graders are taught to share.

Re: Cheating.
^^ Haha.
I think once you're cheater, you're always a cheater. I had a well, ex-friend that cheated multiple times and became a manwhore. I don't trust them.

Re: Cheating.
Hahahaha, they actually all found out one day. And then all broke up with him together.
(And then they one by one came up to him throughout the day and told him that they'd still be his girlfriend.)
My father was, and always will be a badass

Re: Cheating.
I don't think it's ever justified. Even if certain needs are not met, then the couple should break up.
