The Renaissance Era Empty The Renaissance Era

Post by Donald Williams Wed Jul 29, 2009 8:50 pm

Gosh, This is truly one of my favorite times in history. The hero's of this time were not the ones who conformed to the latest fashions. Superficiality or the attractiveness of a person didn't determine his/her popularity. It was instead about the mind. Individuals were looked up to because of their groundbreaking ideas. Finally it was okay for individuals to have their own ideas.

To this day some of the best and world changing arts were created within the renaissance era.

And I love the Renaissance Festival in Kansas City (I'm a nerd)

What does the Renaissance mean to you?
