What are you currently reading?
First topic message reminder :
For me, it's 1984 for my summer book report. I'm really enjoying it, in fact, I'll probably finish it soon.

Re: What are you currently reading?
Well, I finished The Shining yesterday. Now I'm beginning The Green Mile.
I heard it's one of Stephen King's scariest books.

Re: What are you currently reading?
I've read it, and I wouldn't have called it scary.
I would say it's more of a book that really surprises you, and often disgusts you. Overall, it's incredibly good, and you should enjoy reading it immensely.

The Green Mile isn't scary but it's really emotional..I'm not ashamed to admit it's the only book that I've ever shed a tear too at the end.

Yeah, whenever you tried to read one of his books she would flip out.

Re: What are you currently reading?
Yes! It was really good.
I actually thought
it was going to be some
corny love story, but it was
totally awesome!

Re: What are you currently reading?
Yeah you kind of have to be
patient 'cause the action doesn't start
till like the miidle of the book.
But in my opinion that just makes it even
more exciting.

Re: What are you currently reading?
Twilight was really interesting but I hated subscribing to the streotype of the girl that thouroughly enjoyed the books. As much as it hurts me on the inside, it really did raise question to me about the existence of love. Particularily Eclipse. Which was your favorite?

Re: What are you currently reading?
I began to read the first one, got about half way through, and could not bring myself to continue. It was utter nonsense and the writing was sub-par.
Sorry, Twilight fans.
I need to decide on a book to read soon for my book report.

I am going to have to reccomend The Power of One, by Bryce Courtenay. I think I have mentioned it to you before and it would serve as awesome book report material.
has anyone read The Curious Incident of the Dog at Nightime?

I completely agree with you. Except I read the entire series... I'm not necessarily proud of that fact, lol (:
Chuck Palahniuk's "Survivor" is amazing (: It's one of my favorite books (:
EDIT: I am currently re-reading A Wrinkle in Time (:

Read them all. Liked them all. Did not get obsessed, not one bit. Did not read until the craze died down, because whiny pre-teens totally ruined it.
Favorite picture ever, taken from my friend's facebook today:
I laughed my ass off. In a library. I was embarrassed. But only a little. Excellent picture
And Chuck's the man! I'll buy survivor when I go out to the bookstore next.
I'm going to start 1984 soon

Hitman: Enemy Within was the last thing I read.
I swear, these books based off video games are worse than the movies based off games.
