**OFFICIAL** Chiefs Thread
Just because I know Donald and I need to banter news and comments back and forth.
Re: **OFFICIAL** Chiefs Thread
Good call, sir.
Currently, I am hoping Cassel will be able to start against San Diego, It is the Chiefs' most crucial game of the season (So far.)

Re: **OFFICIAL** Chiefs Thread
Though Cassel would be one of the biggest things, that the chiefs have the toughest rushing offense in the nfl! There running backs will have to ruff it up a bit. Hopefully if Matt doesnt start Brody can take his place.

Well, we also have to note that it's possible that Naanee, Jackson, and Sproles will be out for the chargers, so, we're hurting on both sides.
Re: **OFFICIAL** Chiefs Thread
I really hope that Cassel can play this week against SD.

Todd Haley said this week that a player would have to practice in some form or fashion to be available on Sunday. Is this enough to qualify as a practice?
Ehh, all signs point to Croyle starting on sunday.

Re: **OFFICIAL** Chiefs Thread
I'm not so discouraged about the fact that Croyle is playing, but more or less that Cassel is missing a crucial week for development. Not only does the team owe their allegiance to Cassel, but even if we were to lose this weekend the problems for Cassel would have been much easier to diagnose.
At this point (if we lose) it will simply look like it was because of Cassel's absence.

Re: **OFFICIAL** Chiefs Thread
Most of us know, but Charles signed a 5-year contract worth 32 million.
Re: **OFFICIAL** Chiefs Thread
I think this game may prove that Cassel deserves a lot more credit than he's receiving.
Re: **OFFICIAL** Chiefs Thread

THISTHISTHIS
Cassel really is important to the team's offense and I wish more people could see that he really isn't all that bad!

Brodie Croyle certainly did not help the cause.
Re: **OFFICIAL** Chiefs Thread
I really hope the Chiefs can hold on to their lead in the AFC West. I don't think they will make it in via wild card. They could maybe take the Jets out of that spot.
Jets next three games:
Pittsburgh
Chicago
Buffalo
Baltimore:
NO
Cleveland
Cincinnati
Chiefs:
St. Louis
Tennessee
Oakland
Chargers:
SF
Cincinnati
Denver
And that is not even looking at Miami, Indianapolis, and Jacksonville. And I guess Oakland, lol.

Re: **OFFICIAL** Chiefs Thread
We'll probably play either the Steelers, Ravens, or the Jets. The Jets are the best matchup, but I would rather play and beat the Steelers.
