What is wrong with media? Valuing mediocrity. Yep, American media loves to glamourize the people who have done piss nothing to get rich. Even more reasons why I can't stand this country or living in Los Angelos.

I actually see it more in mainstream music. The lack of experimental and progressive music being played on radios and being heavily displayed to the public is atrocious. Part of the problem is the public's satisfaction with mediocrity.

Eh, there seems to be no dedication to actual talent in mainstream music, only if they are hot or if it's the trend.
