Re: gOD, ( You all knew I was going to do it)
A stolen religion, does that in itself not disprove it? (and the astrology part)
As Martyr said.. your religion is the same as mine. (then later said the devil put their religion in place)

Re: gOD, ( You all knew I was going to do it)
I think religion did lay down, and either died, or played dead so they can keep worshiping their ideas.

It's a never ending battle.
No one ever wins. Ever.
Re: gOD, ( You all knew I was going to do it)
I disagree with you dude, science has alot more going for it than religion. Give it a couple more decades, when humans know everything (lmao), and we'll have gotten to the bottom of it. and the earth will be pure, and secular.
Re: gOD, ( You all knew I was going to do it)
If there was something to prove or disprove everyone's theory of God, don't you think we would have found it by now?
I think it's a bit of a joke being played on us. "Look at them down there, they're trying to know everything. When will they just let it go and accept each other as they are?" I think it's alright to debate God, but let each to their own.
If the bible is made up, someone had a fantastic imagination.

Fear and dehydration are great stimulants.
Right back at you though, for every other religion on the planet.

It's all just a matter of opinion and everyone's gonna have a different take on it....

Re: gOD, ( You all knew I was going to do it)
As people have said, no one will win this battle, everyone has a set opinion that will not change with an online debate, (as fun as it is to argue about it)
But, everyone says science has alot more going for it than religion, but, no fossil has ever been found of a pre-evolution human, or anything that hadn't evolved yet, in fact, they found a hummingbird that was 4 million years old that was the exact same as it was now. So right now there is no more proof out there of evolution than the bible.
(I believe in evolution, but I'm just providing some more fuel to this fire..haha)

Hummingbirds are totally badass they figured things out a long time ago.
Re: gOD, ( You all knew I was going to do it)
well with one theory you have complete evolution, and another you have almost none at all.
it just depends. did we start from nothing and build on ourselves, or were we created almost as we are now, but with a few changes resulting over time?

Re: gOD, ( You all knew I was going to do it)
The first one. Non-Organic matter starts to form DNA if a supply of energy (such as plasma) is given to it, this was observed on the ISS. The said DNA formed a double helix, and started to "evolve" becoming longer, more complex, ect.

I'm sorry, I forgot about this video... It is one of the best videos on the web.
Re: gOD, ( You all knew I was going to do it)
If evolution or the big bang or anything like that could be proved, they wouldn't call them theories now would they??

Re: gOD, ( You all knew I was going to do it)
Hmm... lets disprove this one...
Definitions of theory:
* a well-substantiated explanation of some aspect of the natural world; an organized system of accepted knowledge
or...
A comprehensive explanation of a given set of data that has been repeatedly confirmed by observation and experimentation and has gained general acceptance within the scientific community but has not yet been decisively proven.
Theory of gravity? Theory of general relativity? ect...
"My hair is a bird, your arguement is invalid."

Don't forget my "theory" of:
We arrived here.
And Einstein's "theory" of:

I am now a fan of that theory, too. But I like Einstein's theory best.
Re: gOD, ( You all knew I was going to do it)
Well, if you're gonna be giving out definitions, why not include all of them? I found these, and I was a little surprised at their exclusion, considering how they really bring to light what it means to have a theory. Observe.
1. a proposed explanation whose status is still conjectural, in contrast to well-established propositions that are regarded as reporting matters of actual fact
2. contemplation or speculation
3. guess or conjecture
4. An assumption based on limited information or knowledge; a conjecture

Re: gOD, ( You all knew I was going to do it)
You're not giving definitions for a Scientific Theory... thus your arguement is still invalid, but my hair is still a bird.
I did not exclude anything, because I was using the correct theory as a reference.

Re: gOD, ( You all knew I was going to do it)
Scientific or not, the definition of theory remains the same. They're just things scientists use to try and describe the world around them that have yet to be proved one way or the other. And honestly, they never will because nobody around today was there to see it and we all know that the ONLY way scientists will believe something is if they see it....

Seeing as in mathematical proof is some good evidence... and there is a difference between theory and scientific theory.
Theories are just ideas of something, usually based on logic and common sense
Scientific theories are ideas that have been proven continuously to be true, but does not have enough evidence to solidify it as fact and are thus widely accepted by other scientists in the community(who have quite a bit more education than any of us do.)
The interesting thing about education and religion is an inverse correlation.... more education, less belief in a god.. hmmm?
