Re: gOD, ( You all knew I was going to do it)
Even scientists agree, that, the old testament, is pretty much the real deal, but the new testament is where I'm skeptical. No historians of Jesus' time recorded anything in their works about Jesus. I'm agnostic, but the way history is written out in the old testament, is pretty damn close to the way it's recorded otherwise, minus the parts of everything being in the will of god.

Well, There is pages of facts that someone that called himself the son of christ existed, though, his original name was "Yaway" or something along those lines, the King James version called him Jesus.
Re: gOD, ( You all knew I was going to do it)
It's possible God may be real, though I'm more atheist than agnostic. Nonetheless, I say religion is poppycock. My first reason. Why have I not been smitten. I have badmouthed god, I am in general a sinful person, and I occasionally tease my religious friends. Next. WHY HAS GOD NOT TAKEN THE OTHER RELIGIONS DOWN IN AN ARM WRESTLING MATCH. I'd like to bring popcorn to that match. Maybe it's an eternal game, that would get boring really fast. Unless there were fireballs and lesser gods there cheering them on. THAT would be fun. Fin.

That would be worthwhile. I wonder how expensive popcorn is in the afterlife...Donald Williams wrote:God vs Buddah anybody?

I wonder who'd win in an arm wrestling match, God or Jesus?

Totally agree man. "God is all knowing, all powerful, but if you disobey one of his ten rules, he has a special place for you to be tortured and suffer for all of eternity..........but he loves you and he needs money!"
Re: gOD, ( You all knew I was going to do it)
Listen and u better listen clearly... there is only one answer to this and I'm going to kick some ass if anyone is going to say a stupid reply for this. I know the answer to this whole mess and it's simple. GOD IS REAL. How the hell would the bible be written with a story of that caluber unless the stories of christ wa passed down from gen. to gen. that's all there is to it. God made history by creating us. SO LIVE WITH IT!!!!

Re: gOD, ( You all knew I was going to do it)
chill out icesniper. we are allowed to have opposing views. You are entitled to your beliefs but none of us are making you feel stupid so don't try to sell it on us. I personally feel out of fear that is what has kept christianity so alive. Maybe it's just me. To me it is completely delusional to believe that YOU KNOW there is a God. Have you seen him? And by the way, where is the authors name on the bible?

Psh. God isn't real. Deep down we're all atheists. God did not write the bible, it's about as fact worthy as Grimm's Fairy Tales (good book btw.)icesniper wrote:Listen and u better listen clearly... there is only one answer to this and I'm going to kick some ass if anyone is going to say a stupid reply for this. I think I'll start a religion called "Grimmism"
And we'll live by the word of Grimm, never to succumb to the whimsical lies of wolves, cut off our toes for princes, and to save our fairy ponies from decapitation.
But sadly, this religion shall be more valid. Because Grimm was REAL. Now hush, and quit saying that other religions are stupid. I'm sure at least one other person in this world will catch on to Grimmism.

I don't believe in anything, not even atheism (that's a lie, I'm an atheist).
I don't claim to know shit about our existence and what happens after death, etc. The idea of God just seems so far-fetched. People talk about how wacky Scientology is, well, what makes it more out there than Christianity? To me there's no difference (another lie, Scientology is definitely more out there).

Ok.. I'm listening and I hear my music. Maybe read with spell check on? (so should you... caluber? I think you might have ment caliber?)icesniper wrote:Listen and u better listen clearly... there is only one answer to this and I'm going to kick some ass if anyone is going to say a stupid reply for this. The bible was written by a bunch of superstitious, money hungry fuggers (my word for..) who wanted to control people. Considering all the leading/most accurate/ect historians of the time/ near by area never mentioned any of his "miracles", and something so... miraculous? would surely draw attention?
--- But in a sense, they were passed down, since all the authors of the new testament lived 60-80 years after christ's death.
Man created god, who came up with the idea of writing down events, which became known as history.
tada, explained.
Re: gOD, ( You all knew I was going to do it)
Within 17 days, the Creature Creator community had produced a total of unique monsters that exceeded the number of known species on Earth. Wright noted that God had done the same amount of work so in 7 days. Doing the math, he pointed out that Spore fans were roughly 38% God (.38 God units), and should far surpass 1.00 God by the end of the year.
YAY a gaming community is 38% god... in only 17 days?? owned.

Re: gOD, ( You all knew I was going to do it)
ALL religion is just a money-maker nowadays, and as George Carlin said: "...they never seem to have enough."
Re: gOD, ( You all knew I was going to do it)
Another little Off-Topic thing.
Most people wouldn't be quoting George Carlin right now if he hadn't died . That's how everyone found out about him.
